The LEGAULT CS401-BPC are time delay locks with a by pass cylinder whish is in turn, controlled by a third cylinder .

The cash carrier has the Médeco control key to the third cylinder which must be unlocked to release the operation of time delay by pass cylinder.The owner of the safe can then operate the by pass time delay cylinder with his Médeco key.This ensures that direct access to the safe is only possible with two operator / key holders present.

Direct access is possible only with two operators.

The LEGAULT CS401-BR version is only availaible on locks fitted with square bolts.When the lock bolt is retracted, following the time delay period, it is held in the open position inside the lock case by means of a retainer button.

The safe can then be operated normaly without time delay. Pushing the retainer button releases the lock bolt, thereby locking the safe and reactiving the time delay function.

It will re-lock simply by pushing the retainer button.

The LEGAULT CS401-CK cylinder knob require a key to start the time delay, but after the delay has elapse, the lock can be opened once by turning the knob.

It can replace our 300 series at a lower cost.

All locks can now be fitting with a RELOCKING DEVICE,to help prevent the lock bolt from being retracted, should the cylinder or knob assembly be attacked.

Cylinder can be keyed to differ, keyed alike or master keyed as required.
